Meet Cole Tanner and John Tanner, son and father. John’s first car was a 1975 Porsche 914, first owned by a friend. After an early career in race driving, John sold the 914 and lost track of it. John’s young son, Cole, grew up and wanted to find the 914 again. So he set out to do just that. Along the way, Cole found more than a car. He found a calling and a path in life. His path includes a chance opportunity at Paul Russell’s restoration shop that led him to a unique school called McPherson College in Kansas. This is the story.
